m2o Joins Microsoft Mainframe Migration Alliance for Legacy Migration

Oxford, UK - September 30, 2004 - MOVE2OPEN (m2o), a leading provider of data migration and application conversion technologies, today announced that it has joined Microsoft Corporation's Mainframe Migration Alliance (MMA) to help legacy customers migrate their critical operations off the mainframe onto more open environments.

The MMA alliance is now expanding to include 11 new partners, among them m2o, bringing the total MMA membership to 17 partners. These companies are united by their commitment to offer customers a more agile, low risk alternative to the legacy nature of the mainframe. Along with the addition of these key industry partners, the MMA also announced the launch of its website: www.mainframemigration.org, to provide information for customers wishing to explore options for migrating off the mainframe.
